On Wednesday, August 23rd, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled BookMyShow as the chosen ticketing platform for the upcoming World Cup 2023 matches to be hosted by India.

The main tournament is set to commence on October 5th, while the warm-up matches are scheduled from September 29th to October 3rd. The culminating event of the World Cup 2023 is designated for November 19th in Ahmedabad.

This occasion marks India’s premiere venture as the exclusive host of the ODI World Cup. While India co-hosted the ODI World Cups in 1987, 1996, and 2011 alongside Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh respectively, this time, India stands as the sole host.

Spanning across 10 distinct venues including Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, the tournament will also include warm-up matches held in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram prior to the main event.
