Former Pakistani cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik have shared their predictions for the finalists in the current ICC World Cup 2023. With India, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand already securing places in the knockout stage, cricket enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the tournament’s climax.

Pakistan faces the uphill task of delivering a miraculous performance against England to surpass New Zealand’s net run-rate. However, the enormity of this challenge is deemed nearly insurmountable, a sentiment echoed by the seasoned Pakistani cricketers.

When questioned about their finalists on ASports, Shoaib Malik confidently asserted, “India and Australia will clash in the final.”

In contrast, Misbah-ul-Haq envisioned a final encounter between India and South Africa, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the sport.

While acknowledging the strength of all four teams and their potential to triumph on any given day, Misbah conveyed his belief in India’s superiority, stating, “All four teams are strong and can beat each other on their day. However, I think India is a much better side than the remaining three. Their balance is better.”
