Virat Kohli

After Virat Kohli shared his Yo-Yo Test score on social media, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a warning to the player, urging him to refrain from publicly disclosing confidential matters. The highest-ranking officials of the governing body expressed their dissatisfaction with Kohli’s action, as it contradicted established rules and regulations.

As reported by the Indian Express, players participating in the preparatory camp in Bangalore have been explicitly instructed to adhere to these guidelines.

In a recent Instagram post, Kohli had expressed his satisfaction after successfully completing the challenging Yo-Yo test amidst the cones, stating, “The joy of completing the Yo-Yo test amidst the dreaded cones. 17.2 don.”

However, this post did not align with the stance of the board officials.

“Players have been clearly advised to abstain from sharing any confidential information on social media platforms. Although they are encouraged to share images related to their training, revealing their test scores contradicts the contractual obligations they have agreed upon,” affirmed an official from BCCI.
