Jos Buttler, the skipper of England’s white-ball cricket team, recently unveiled the initial five players he envisions in his dream ODI XI. To the surprise of many, the selections did not include two notable figures, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam.

Jos Buttler is all set to lead England in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023, with their tournament opener against New Zealand scheduled for October 5th.

Being the defending champions who secured the title in 2019, England is poised for an exciting campaign. Buttler’s dream ODI XI, however, consists of Quinton de Kock, Rohit Sharma, Glenn Maxwell, Adil Rashid, and Anrich Nortje. These chosen players are expected to play pivotal roles for their respective teams, although Nortje will be regrettably absent due to an unfortunate injury.
