Australia has encountered yet another setback as they have had to rule out their key all-rounder, Mitchell Marsh, from the forthcoming match against England. Marsh has made a journey back to Perth due to personal reasons and will not be a part of the playing XI when they face off against the defending champions at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

This comes shortly after Glenn Maxwell’s unfortunate exclusion from the squad following a concussion he suffered during a golf game on Monday. As it stands, there is no definitive information available regarding when Marsh will make a return, and a decision concerning his replacement is still pending.

While Marcus Stoinis is a strong contender to step into Marsh’s role, there is also the possibility of Cameron Green being recalled to the team.
