Former Pakistani cricketers persist in their criticism and mockery of India, with Abdul Razzaq making another contentious statement, alleging that the host nation exploited the conditions to their advantage in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Razzaq asserted that India’s loss to Australia in the final was a positive turn of events for cricket.

“Cricket emerged victorious, and India faced defeat. If India had won the World Cup, it would have been a very disheartening moment for the game. They took advantage of the conditions, and I have never seen such a subpar pitch for any ICC final before. It’s a beneficial outcome for cricket that India did not emerge victorious,” he commented.

Pat Cummins’ team secured a 6-wicket victory over the Men in Blue, clinching their sixth World Cup title. India was dismissed for 240 runs after being invited to bat first at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19.

Travis Head’s century sealed the game in favor of the Aussies, earning him the Player of the Match award for his outstanding batting display in challenging conditions.
