“Australian Cricketer Tim David Joins Trinbago Knight Riders as Replacement Overseas Player

Trinbago Knight Riders have made an addition to their roster for the upcoming 2023 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League, signing Australian batter Tim David as a replacement overseas player. This move comes after Rilee Rossouw’s unavailability for the 2023 season.

Tim David brings prior CPL experience to the table, having previously represented the Saint Lucia Kings in the tournament. However, he won’t be accessible for the initial six league matches of the event. Stepping in during his absence will be Irish international Lorcan Tucker, a proficient wicket-keeper batter with over 100 appearances for Ireland and a tally of more than 1500 runs in T20 cricket.

In addition to Tim David, Trinbago Knight Riders have also secured the services of England’s Tom Curran. Curran will serve as a temporary replacement for Noor Ahmad, who will be unavailable for the entirety of the 2023 season.
