Hardik Pandya’s Absence in India vs. New Zealand Clash Due to Injury

In an unfortunate development, Hardik Pandya will not be available for Team India’s upcoming match against New Zealand scheduled for October 22. The all-rounder will receive specialized medical treatment at the National Cricket Academy, including necessary injections, under the care of an expert from England.

Fortunately, Pandya is expected to make a swift recovery and rejoin the Indian squad in Lucknow for their forthcoming game against England.

A BCCI official elaborated, “Hardik has been instructed to report to the National Cricket Academy. Following a thorough examination of his scan reports, the medical team has recommended a treatment plan that involves administering injections. This treatment approach was similarly advised by the doctor in England. Consequently, Hardik will be unable to participate in the upcoming game against New Zealand.”

Pandya sustained an ankle injury while attempting to prevent a drive from Litton Das. After undergoing scans, it was determined that he would be sidelined for the remainder of the match.
